Join us on a fun Transatlantic adventure from Port Canaveral, Florida to Barcelona, Spain! With a ship built for fun and other worldschooling families to build relationships with, this is sure to be a trip to remember. Give your kids the opportunity to meet other worldschoolers and build relationships while visiting some of the most beautiful places in Europe. This cruise is also the first leg of a roundtrip option. Spend some time in Europe and then hop on one our returning cruise options in October to come back to the U.S.

This cruise is the first leg of our roundtrip cruises to Europe. We will be spending one month in Europe, time in which we will go on multiple trips around different countries. We will return at the end of October via Allure of the Seas

Port Canaveral (Orlando)
Port Canaveral, FL is about an hour's drive east of Orlando, two hours from Tampa and two and a half hours from Jacksonville. Tallahassee is just under five hours to the north. Port Canaveral is the closest city to Disney World and the other theme parks in Orlando, and is next to Cape Canaveral Kennedy Space Center. A wide variety of activities are available near the port, including several miles of beaches and parks, boating, fishing, shopping and several restaurants.
Celebration Key, Bahamas
Exclusive to Carnival, Celebration Key is located on the south side of Grand Bahama Island. This beautiful, private retreat offers a variety of relaxation and adventure for guests of all ages. Enjoy long stretches of pristine white sand beaches, authentic Bahamian dining and shopping, or one of many excursions that explore the natural beauty of the area.

Tenerife, Canary Islands
Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is a popular destination renowned for its diverse landscapes, including volcanic terrain, lush forests and stunning beaches. Home to Spain's highest peak, Mount Teide, it offers opportunities for hiking and sightseeing. Visitors can also explore vibrant coastal towns like Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Playa de las Américas, experiencing the island's rich culture, delicious cuisine and lively atmosphere.
Day at Sea
Take advantage of your time at sea to enjoy all the activities your ship has to offer. Spend some time at the theater or the comedy club. Try your luck at the casino. Test the infinity tides pool or relax at the beach pool. Hours of endless entertainment await!
Cádiz, Spain
Cádiz dates back to 1100 B.C., making it actually one of the oldest cities not just in the region of Andalusia, not just in Spain, but in all of Europe! Sites here include an 18th-century cathedral, the Fine Arts Museum and the Congress Court of Spain. Most tourists choose an excursion to the historic city of Seville, visiting the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. The tour also visits the Alcazar fortress and gardens, the Golden Tower and the Barrio de Santa Cruz.
Málaga, Spain
Cruise to Málaga and enjoy one of Spain’s oldest cities. First founded by the Phoenicians, the city of Málaga had hosted a number of civilizations over its 3,000 years. Dotted with palm trees and beaches, Málaga is a peaceful Mediterranean port on Spain's famed Costa del Sol. The Moorish fortress Alcazaba, Málaga Cathedral and hilltop Castle of Gibralfaro are among the prominent historical attractions. An expansive bullring, dating to 1874, still hosts fights and its museum displays bullfighting gear and memorabilia. Pablo Picasso was born here in 1881, and several museums house the native son's art, like Casa Natal, his birthplace, or the Picasso Museum, home of 250-plus works.

Barcelona, Spain
Cruises from Barcelona make for some of the most unforgettable vacations you can imagine. Barcelona looks like a city that should be known for its architecture… and, naturally, it is. With mountains to the west and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea to the east, Barcelona possesses panoramic beauty. Among the most-visited sites in the Catalonia region's capital are structures designed by Antoni Gaudi, including the colorful Casa Batllo, whimsical Park Guell and Barcelona's most iconic building, the Expiatory Temple of the Holy Family, known locally as the Sagrada Familia. If you are looking for the largest stateroom and best view on the ship — one practically the same as what the captain sees — then the search stops here. But there’s more to know: for one thing, this stateroom features a separate living room and bedroom, and these spaces are packing two TVs, a walk-in closet, a lighted vanity and sectional sofa. There's a dining area, and of course there’s a wet bar. You'll find truly deluxe extras like the bathroom with large shower and two sinks, plus a separate private room featuring a toilet and extra sink. Did we forget the hot tub? Of course not — it’s outside on the wraparound balcony, which is so large that “balcony” might not even be the right description since it features seating and lounging options, from lounge chairs to loveseats, rocking chair to daybed, for over a dozen of close friends, including four at the al fresco dining table.

Every single travel experience is educational. On this trip we will not be sitting in classrooms, or looking at textbooks. We will be exploring, immersing, learning from doing. We will be sharing all the knowledge about the area that we have collected over the years. We will be encouraging kids and adults to break out of their shell and step a little out of their comfort zone and remember what it's like to be a wild child. This might not be in your local school's curicullum but it will be transformational in another way.

Yes, all the families will be added to a WhatsApp group to get to know each other before the trip and discuss the itinerary. We will also use WhatsApp to communicate during the trip.
I think that's a question you need to ask yourself. We have never had an issue whether families did not get along.
During our past trips, introverts have enjoyed sporadic company of other introverts, while their kids were able to be social and extroverts had fun with the whole group. No matter what you will have the perfect experience for you. The more you put into it the more you will get out of it. Be yourself, be authentic, and make time to connect with others. You'll be so happy you did!
